Volunteer With Us

Over 20,000 people volunteer for the Citizens Advice service nationally and our volunteers are vital to delivering the service we offer locally at Citizens Advice Richmond.

As a result of the current crisis we are seeing a substantial increase in the number of people needing advice and assistance. Our dedicated volunteers are advising even more people than usual, who are experiencing far more extensive issues.

We need to ensure that we meet this increased demand and are seeking volunteers who share in our commitment to supporting the local community.

We are keen to recruit volunteers of a range of ages, from different backgrounds with varied life experiences that reflect the diverse community we support. We offer training and support for all roles to meet any level of experience.

Trustee Treasurer

We are an active Board committed to helping shape the future of Citizens Advice Richmond.
Our Board is seeking a Treasurer to oversee the finances of this vibrant charity and help define the direction of the organisation and support our staff and volunteers in the way it is run. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your ideas, skills and experience at a time when our services have never been more needed.

Research & Campaigns Volunteers

We are looking for additional volunteers for our Research & Campaigns Team. You will have the chance to make a real difference in our community, improve people’s lives and contribute to the development of national and local policies and services.

Our Research & Campaigns Team uses clients’ experiences and stories to identify areas that call for changes in policy or delivery of services as well as carrying out broadly-based research to investigate emerging problems.
